
Simon and Agnes Foundation Nigeria (SAFO Nigeria) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious Community Based Organization.
Founded by young couples in 2020 during the covid-19 lockdown following the increase of gender based violence especially against women and girl; Female Genital Mutilation and exploitation of children, Malnutrition among infants displaced by crisis in Nigeria, adolescents reproduction health and rights violated on a daily basis and poor knowledge of viral hepatitis accounting for large number of deaths globally and Nigeria in particular.
Having being in the humanitarian and social development for years in supporting HIV/AIDS projects their passion for giving life a meaning and exposure to vulnerable people transcends to the need for global push towards eliminating the viral hepatitis, poverty and improve learning and wellbeing of women and youths. With this in mind, the organization was set up to support the teeming population with knowledge of Gender Based Violence and health awareness especially on viral hepatitis and HIV/AIDS and ensure access to quality education for rural children, Life’s skill building for adolescents and empowerment for women, girls and youths as a way we feel we can contribute to the society and giving life a meaning.

To put an end to all forms of gender based violence, viral hepatitis and poverty through advocacy, improved community and educational based approach, sensitization, capacity building, skill acquisition, empowerment, referral and linkages, treatment, care and support.
